As much of the Magothy River watershed is developed, stormwater flows rapidly into creek and coves, causing erosion and increasing pollutants in the river. MRA is committed to supporting the work of Anne Arundel County to restore its wetlands and watersheds. It is currently working with the Watershed Steward’s Association to develop projects to slow the flow of stormwater to the river so that pollutants can be assimilated before they reach the water.
